Best Cruelty Free - Clean Foundations

I am looking for recommendations on a new foundation that is cruelty free and clean. I have combination skin but with the winter - have the usual dry patches on my chin and nose.  I am looking for medium or full coverage (buildable is okay too) Previously, I was using Tarte Shape Tape Matte Foundation but with my dry skin it is literally making it so much more obvious and is just sitting on top of the skin looking streaky. Please let me you know your favorites! Thanks!

Hey! I recommend the Ilia True Skin Foundation! its about a medium coverage and it's not a matte finish so your skin won't look flat.

Hello!

Lawless foundation has a dewy, skin like texture, yet is full coverage.

ILIA foundation has a skin like texture, yet is medium coverage and buildable.

Both are beautiful!

Bite is the one recommended to me at store. So far very pleased with their products.

@nola0201 Give another Tarte product a try - I enjoy TARTE - SEA Water Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15. It’s a more buildable and hydrating formula.

I just started using that foundation because Ulta had it on sale for $25. I love Tarte and I have been using the Amazonian Clay liquid foundation for years TARTE - Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15. I've found that a primer really helps with the Shape Tape foundation and my favorite primer is
MILK MAKEUP Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide 1.52 / 45 mL . It's so sticky and helps makeup adhere to the skin instead of sitting on top. For dry patches, I use
fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner 8.4 oz/ 250 mL . I have combo skin too and it has gotten rid of my dry patches so my foundation can't cling to them anymore.

@nola0201, if you like the Tarte foundation you were using, you might try the following before moving on to another foundation - 

• exfoliate, especially the areas where you experience dry patches. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads or SEPHORA COLLECTION - Glow Peel Pads are both gentle, but effective 
• mix a drop of face oil with your foundation like  tarte Mini Maracuja Oil 0.5 oz/ 15 mL or JOSIE MARAN - 100 percent Pure Argan Oil Light Mini
