Highlighter or Bronzer? Liquid or powder?

Hi! I have a question and Im hoping someone could answer it as I tried to search up things from people online but nothing really showed up (that could give me some sort of knowledge.) I was given a gift card from my friend and I would like to use it now while I still have the chance. I have concealer, bb cream, mascara, eyeliners and alot of cream and powder blushes in my makeup bag. I also have a bit of bronzer left.

I am a person of color. I have tanned skin. I like what I put on my face to look natural and look like im not really wearing makeup. I also go to a private school. Makeup is allowed but I dont wanna go for a IM WEARING MAKEUP look. Did I also mention that I am very young? I joined perhaps maybe a teen could also give info in the world of makeup. But I'll get to the point.

Should I get highlighter or bronzer for my next purchase?

Now, I understand the uses of both products. Bronzer adds color to your face, etc. And highlighter really enhances your natural beauty features on your face and and gives you a glowy look. I would prefer something that brings out my natural "beauty" *coughs* and shows more of my features on my face.

One more question, Powder or Cream/Liquid? I have oily/ combination skin but I am mostly on the oily side.

Anyways. If you read all of this you're a keeper. Need responses asap!

Thanks 🙂

Re: Highlighter or Bronzer? Liquid or powder?

@hannadapapa I say highlighter for a glow within look unless you use a bronzer with a slight shimmer to it.  For oily skin I say go with powder. If you use cream it may not last throughout the day if you don’t set it well and move. Powder will absorb the oil better and last longer than cream for your skin type

I was thinking highlighter as well. Thanks so much :))
