Highlight

Are you supposed to put a little highlight in the middle of forehead?

Re: Highlight

I used to but that made me look greasy so now I put it on my temples sometimes or just none at all!

Re: Highlight

I don't because it just makes me look oily.  I personally think the most flattering spots to highlight are on the cheek bone, brow bone and on the cupids bow area of the lips.

I've seen people do the tip of their nose and other places and to me it just ends up looking oily as opposed to glowy.

Re: Highlight

Lol I hear ya. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks it looks greasy especially after a LONG day!!

Re: Highlight

@Anonymous You can put highlighter on where ever you want to 😌 heh

I put it on features I’d like to bring forward, and look more “full,” if that makes sense.. LOL Sometimes I apply highlighter on the center of my forehead if I want my forehead to appear more full.

Re: Highlight

Lol ok thank u

RE: Highlight

I do... I have dry skin and essentially no natural shine as well as a small forehead and I put it in the center, above the brows, and on the temples. If you are at all oily I would avoid it.

Thank you

Re: Highlight

@Anonymous I think it is really up to you based on your comfort level and the amount of time you have to get ready in the morning. 🙂

A lot of YT gurus and MUAs get super elaborate with their highlighting and contouring, but it's often not feasible in real life.  I've seen a few ladies irl rock highlighter well with an accent on their forehead, nose and chin, but most people I know go a little more low key for daily looks. I highlight my cheekbones and browbone and that's pretty much it.

If this is a look you want to try, I recommend checking out some YT tutorials - Good luck! ❤️

Re: Highlight

Thanks, I been doing the nose, chin, and a little on forehead but it looks weird on forehead like too shiny lol

Re: Highlight

@Anonymous Yeah - I tend to get a lot of shine on my forehead as it is, so that is another reason I don't highlight there. 🙂

RE: Highlight

I tend to avoid highlighting my forehead.

Re: RE: Highlight

I think I will too I've tried it various times and doesn't look right, or I might not do it right lol
