Bronzer vs Contour.

To anyone seeing this, Im still a bit confused between bronzer and contour and I need a clear answer once and for all ! 1. Does bronzer go only on the sides of your face (the number 3 pattern) ? Is it usually more shimmery than contour ? 2. How do you know you’ve got a contour powder and not just any type of brown shade powder ? Is it indicated clearly ? Do the areas that need applied to are : line between hair / forehead, bridge of nose, cheeks hollows, jaw line, a tap under lower lip to make your lips bigger by creating a shadow ? 3. What are the areas of highlights on my face using a contour palette ? Is it the same as the highlight i’m putting on the sides of my cheek bones / middle of my nose / tap on upper lip ? Because the ones in contour palette always seem matte and just a plain beige whilst the individual powder ones look very shimmery and vary in colour (pinks, peaches, browns, etc). 4. Is there a palette that has all three (bronzer / contour / highlighter) ? Would you recommend too faced cocoa Contour Palette or will I only be using my pale skin shades and the rest will remain untouched ? Thanks so much for clearing this all up (whoever does) 🙇🏻‍♀️✨🤍🌞

@aloritata bronzer goes on places where the sun hits. So the 3 pattern on the sides of face and the nose and forehead and chin. Bronzer can be matte or have shimmer. Contour has no shimmer.

to be safe you know you have a contour powder because it is either marketed as a contour powder or it is 2-3 shades darker than your foundation.  You apply contour on the sides of forehead, under cheekbones, along the jawline and along the nose area. Anywhere you want to appear slimmer or smaller. 

highlight areas you want to bring forward like down center of the nose, Cupid’s bow, forehead, under the eyes and above the cheekbones. These can be matte or shimmers

Thank you for your reply ! Quick question. You said bronzer goes on forehead / nose and highlight same. So do i put bronzer under and then highlight on top ? It seems contradictory to me 🤔😞 thanks !!✨🤍

@aloritata For me in regards to powder not cream, I like to put bronzer all the my face then contour and then apply highlighter in the areas needed. 

the picture I provided was a cream example not a powder btw so please use that as a reference of where to contour and highlight.  Most people don’t do all three, just contour and highlight or bronze and highlight.
