Blush?!

Please share any and all your tips and advice for blush here! (What brands to use, how to apply, how to blend, how much to use, literally anything I’m desperate šŸ˜‚) I’m basically transparent and want some color but I have no idea where to even start!

Re: Blush?!

@mayaabeauty What colors do you like and what brands have you tried? Are you looking for liquid, cream, or powder?

Re: Blush?!

@SportyGirly125 I like very natural colors not too pigmented but enough to give me some color if that makes sense? I’ve only tried powder and cream but definitely open to liquid too, and as for brands mostly drugstore to start with like LA colors, Covergirl, and even Five below šŸ˜‚

Re: Blush?!

@mayaabeauty Do you have a budget on how much you are willing to spend?

Re: Blush?!

I prefer to not go over $20 but I’m willing to try things!

Re: Blush?!

What types blushes do you have right now? @mayaabeauty

Cream, powder, liquid?

Just tagging A thread with lots of fun blush things below Cheek Challenge Winter 2024/25, The Frost, The Glitz and The Wardrobe.

For liquid I like to apply a dot to the back of my hand, and from that dot apply a little bit to my face. I can use a brush or my fingers depending how I feel. I like this start slowly and build the color up. I use clean fingers to gently tap along the edges to blend it in.

For powders I gently use a brush to pick up a little product and tap it to dust off any excess. I like to start lightly and build, taking the brush helps me not to go overboard to fast.

Re: Blush?!

@CynthieLu I replied to @SportyGirly125 about what types and brands I’ve used: mostly powder and some cream blushes and all drugstore brands. I’m a bit nervous to try high end products until I know more about them lol šŸ˜‚

thank you so much that helps a lot

Re: Blush?!

I would still apply creams lightly and build, you can use a brush or clean hands and I usually pick using my fingers. I just gently tap the product and place it where I want it on my cheeks. ( You don't need lots because we can build. šŸ‘Œ) with one finger and use a finger without product too tap tap tap and gently blend the edges.  There's a lot of videos or image guides about blush placement and with experimenting you'll find which one you love best. @mayaabeauty hope this helps too! šŸ’•
