i don’t usually ever fill in my brows, and whenever i try to, it looks a little too much. any good product suggestions that will leave my brows looking natural and not instagram looking?

RE: eyebrows!!

Benefit "gimme brow" is my favorite for a quick and natural polished brow look...easy to apply and makes a huge difference without looking drawn on or fake

RE: eyebrows!!

Anastasia Beverly Hills is fantastic!

all these people still telling you to fill in with pencil...

all these people still telling you to fill in with pencils. if you want the most natural looking but prominent and thick looking brow use benefit gimme brow volumizing fiber gel. you just brush it on your eyebrow like mascara and instantly thicker Fuller brows but all natural looking and no effort.

RE: eyebrows!!

I would try doing the minimal. Sometimes just cleaning up under your brow with concealer and then using a tinted brow gel is enough to give you something without going overboard

RE: eyebrows!!

I have naturally thick, full eyebrows. If I use gels and pomades etc. they look awful- so unnatural and fake looking. The only thing I use is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo, and all it does is just makes them a little bit darker. They don't look like I drew my brows on.. they don't look fake or weird at all. I bought it on Halloween 2015, and there is barely a dent in it! I use it every. single. day. I love it!! I would totally recommend!

Re: eyebrows!!

Are you sure that you're using the right color for your eyebrows? You might try going a shade lighter. I would highly recommend asking an associate at Sephora to color match you. They also have classes in brow shaping that are free to Beauty Insiders.

@kishaaX24 A good guide is the "golden ratio"

Re: eyebrows!!

I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade Blonde. Pick up a pencil one shade lighter than your original brow color- it will help make your brows look less 'bold' or 'overdone'. 🙂

RE: eyebrows!!

I have thick brows but still like to fill in the sparse hairs. I prefer using a pencil because it's easy to use and doesn't give you too much. I recommend the NYX micro eyebrow pencil or the precisely my brow pencil by Benefit. Don't fill them in too dark at the front, after filling them in use a spoolie or clean mascara wand and comb through the product/brows to give a more natural effect and create hairlike stokes. And try using two different shades if you'd like to give your you eyebrows extra dimension. (Hair isn't exactly one shade all throughout, especially with lighting)

Re: eyebrows!!

I use the ABH brow definer. I lightly underline the underside of my brow and tail. Then I use delicate whispy strokes to mimic hairs where needed. I use a spoolie and brush the product threw so nothing looks clumpy or unnatural. I use a brow gel to set my hairs in place and wham bam I've got natural brows. I only use concealer to clean up when I've gone overboard or when I'm going full glam. I've also got naturally thick brows so I don't have much to do when it comes to filling them in. However I understand the struggle of wanting a natrual looking brow day when you've got a pile of product on your face.

Re: eyebrows!!

Once you fill them in take a spoolie or old clean mascaras wand and brush out the condensed color. That usually helps soften the color.

Re: eyebrows!!

I lightly fill in with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil in medium brown. It's super easy but looks natural as long as you don't press too hard! You can go into a Sephora and they will check what will work for your skin type/hair colour. 🙂
