PLEASE HELP ME AND MY EYEBROWS

So, I have a little bit of a problem with my eyebrows. I have very light eyebrows and I tried to fill them in but they don't look the best. There is something off about my eyebrows//face but I don't know what it is. someone please helpp. I am currently using the It Cosmetics brow pencil in universal taupe, and i pushed down without any pressure so they are a light color.  IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil Universal Taupe

@Katherine12189 I so hear you. I’ve got eyeshadow application locked down, yet I’m honestly pretty terrible at applying brow pencil lol. My cheat is using Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Tinted Volumizing Eyebrow Gel 4 . 

I keep my brows well-sculpted with regular tweezing and then make them fuller and more defined with the Gimme Brow. It’s so easy to apply and gives me the definition I want. 

That being said, I have recently purchased the DIOR - Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil in the hopes that I can improve my eyebrow game. It can’t be THAT difficult, right? 😅

When I took a brow class at Sephora, they had us outline our brows with a pencil the same color as our brow. Then using a powder the shade of or a shade lighter than your eyebrow, using a thin angled brush, make little strokes (mimicking hair) to fill in from the inside of your brow halfway out, then using a slightly darker shade, do the same to the outer half of your brow. Use a spoolie to sort of blend it all together. I have some out of control hairs that go askew, plus I have some patchiness, so I use a brow mascara to beef them up, but you can use a clear gel if your hair needs some control. If you don’t have specific shadows for your brow, you can definitely use matte eyeshadows, so you don’t have to go out and buy new stuff just to practice. 

I hope that makes a little sense. I would google how to shape your brow. You want the ends to coincide with your eyes and arch to align above your pupil, but it’s easier to see with a diagram. If you are close to a Sephora, you can go in for a mini session where the makeup artist will do one brow and you can practice on the other. I found that helpful as well. Good luck @Anonymous.

If you brush your your eyebrows up then take a powder a bit darker than your brow and go along with the line of the bottom of your brow with a pointed eyebrow brush then take a spoolie and blend the color brush down the brow and do the same on the top with a color the same as your brow and grow out the front of your brows and leave them wispy

I got the Anastasia Beverly Hills stencils and they are great, you can use whatever product you prefer (pencil, powder, etc) I recently started doing my brows and the stencils make it so much easier.

But as someone who has just recently started playing with brows too, really my best advice is to just keep practicing and playing. Filling in your brows looks weird at first (at least it did to me lol)! Don't give up if you are unhappy in the beginning, but also don't be afraid to try other products to find what you like best. For me, after trying some pencils, pomades and Benefit Kabrow, I've settled on powder as being my favorite for now...it gives me a softer, more natural look without being too done up. I had a tendency to over-blend pencils, leaving me with a patchy mess that I had a hard time evening out, and pomades were just too dramatic, but powder seems to work well for me. Just keep trying and you'll find the right technique and product(s) for you 😊
