How can I clean my eyebrow gel applicator?

Hello everyone! New here, and I would love some advice on this topic. I bought the Kosas Air Brow Tinted Clean Volumizing Eyebrow Gel  and I love the color as well as how it layers and the texture of the product. However, I’ve noticed that after a few weeks the bristles have started to clump together as they are fairly soft and not like your traditional spoolie. The applicator is made out of plant-based microfibers (I’ve learned that there are different ways to clean them since there is synthetic or natural). Do I clean it like how you de-clump a mascara wand?
