ABH Brow Pomade or Benefit Ka-Brow?

I've been using my Benefit Ka-Brow for almost 9 months and I'm just wondering which is better through opinion. Mine dried after a couple of months but I've still been able to work with it. Is the ABH pomade any better? Any other brands or tips?? Let me know! 🙂

Re: ABH Brow Pomade or Benefit Ka-Brow?

Hi, @Anonymous!  I have both products.  I started out with the Dipbrow then switched to Ka-brow after using a promo sample.  Yes, the Ka-brow does dry out; my Dipbrow is also dried out.  They are both still usable in their dried out state.  I have trichotillomania.  I pull out my eyebrows and eyelashes so I draw on both of my eyebrows everyday.  Both products work great.  I lean more towards Ka-brow because of the small head and stiff bristles on the brush.  That brush is perfect for putting on the product.  I have yet to find a brush I like for putting on the Dipbrow.  I used the ABH '#15 Angle Cut Brush and the Sephora Pro '#35 Pointed Brow Brush.  The second one would be a perfect brush if the bristle were firm.  However, the flexibility may work fine for those filling in their eyebrows and not drawing them on like me.  😄

In addition, I use the ABH Brow Powder Due over top of the Ka-brow or Dipbrow.  This helps fill in any spaces that the gel may have missed and gives the brows a more natural look.  This is true for filling in eyebrows as well.  I also use the ABH '#15 brush for this product.

I know I haven't really answered your question, but the answer is they are both good products and it comes down to personal preference.  For me, I like the brush that comes with Ka-brow and I like the convenience of the packaging.  If I find a brush I like for the Dipbrow, then I may go back to Dipbrow.  You can't go wrong with either product.  It will also depend on which product has a good color match.  Dipbrow has the better color match for me; Ka-brow is a bit dark.  However, the pros for the Ka-brow outweigh the difference in color.  My ka-brow is about out; now I have to decide what I want to do:  buy another Ka-brow or use up the Dipbrow.

One product I do not recommend is MUFE brow gel.  The product is great and I would rank it with Dipbrow and Ka-brow.  I would probably still be using this product except it comes in a tube.  You have to squeeze it out on the back of your hand (or whatever you choose).  It can be very messy and it definitely wastes product.  I used the ABH '#15 brush to apply this product.

Re: ABH Brow Pomade or Benefit Ka-Brow?

I've used both and I definitely prefer ABH pomade - I ended up returning the Ka Brow because I really didn't like it. I like ABH better because it's really pigmented and a little goes a long way. So when you use it remember that - definitely start with a very light hand. You can always add more! I also recommend storing the pomade upside down so it doesn't dry out. And iff it does dry out you can add a bit of baby oil.

Re: ABH Brow Pomade or Benefit Ka-Brow?

i have tried both and personally i like the anastasia pomade better. i had the same drying issue with the ka-brow and the anastasia one just lasts longer. just be careful with the anastasia one because ive broken two of them due to the glass packaging. hope this helps!

I personally use ABH, but about the drying issue...Try to make sure the lid is on at all times except for when getting product and you can use Inglot Duraline to rehydrate it. Or any cream based products!
