givenchy is one of the luxury beauty brands that has a firm place in my heart. my first luxury lipstick (rouge interdit in 'pretty rose') was givenchy, and i treasured it. 

i'm not exactly on top of 'new releases' as such (though of course i'll share here as i stumble upon news), but i wanted to create a space for my fellow Givenchy beauty lovers !

I picked up the new Lunar New Year Le Rouge lipstick in store last week, and I thought it looked similar to last year's Lunar New Year shade since they're both bright reds. But, since I've been out of town and am finally back to my lipstick collection, here are swatches--last year's is a little more pink. Top swatch is the 2018 lipstick in Rouge Egerie and bottom swatch is the 2019 lipstick in Rouge Fetiche.
