The COSRX Thread

I donโ€™t think we have a thread for COSRX. For those who are unfamiliar, itโ€™s a k-beauty skincare brand that is surprisingly affordable. Their products are starting to appear on North American shelves even in places like Walmart and Winners/Marshalls.

Please feel free to post reviews or ask questions about any of their offerings!

Re: The COSRX Thread

Itโ€™s been more than a week since I started using The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum. I did experience some tingling at first but I isolated the culprit. By itself, I didnโ€™t feel any tingling. I would say the consistency is thinner than other hyaluronic acid serums Iโ€™ve tried like Inkeyโ€™s or HadoLaboโ€™s. The addition of the other ingredients seem to have been welcomed by my skin with open cells. I swear my forehead wrinkles are softer! Time will tell how much theyโ€™ll fade by. For now, this oneโ€™s a keeper.

My current collection of COSRX products.

Lip Sleep is one of my favourite lip masks and my current winter one. I have seen different versions of this. The one I have has ceramides for some extra protection and repair. I used this to help deal with chapped, flakey lips, and that went away. I havenโ€™t had that problem return since.

Aloe Soothing Sun Cream is my current sunscreen and I can see myself buying this again. Minimal white cast that goes away with a bit of working it into the skin, not irritating, and not greasy feeling. Iโ€™ve even used it on my kids without them complaining.

The 6 Peptide Skin Booster is new to me and Iโ€™ve only used it a few times now. It does feel similar in consistency to other hyaluronic acid serums Iโ€™ve tried but the added ingredients should help improve my skin more. After a few days, my forehead is feeling nice and smooth.

I do notice a bit of tingling after applying, which goes away for a few minutes. For the records I have dry, sensitive skin. I will have to try and play around with my routine a little to see if itโ€™s because of this one new product or because of some interaction between the rest of my routine.

Tagging @faeriegirl @CynthieLu @makeitup305 @Cissy63 @WinglessOne @CookieGirl1 @ather @Mellmars1185 since you asked. Iโ€™ll try to update again a few a few days. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes  Thank you for the tag!  And thank you for starting this on Brand Loyal ๐Ÿ˜€.  While I have seen this line, mainly at TJ Maxx and Marshals I have not tried it yet.  But I am always on the lookout for Hyaluronic Acid serum.  Appreciate your review ๐Ÿ˜€

Re: The COSRX Thread

@Cissy63 I love a good hyaluronic acid serum. My skin just drinks it up! Hado Labo GokuJyun lotion is another good one. Itโ€™s Japanese and is more like a serum than a lotion but itโ€™s great on my skin.

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes  Thanks for the info!

Re: The COSRX Thread

The sunblock is my absolute favorite from their lineeee. I've been using it for like 10 years+ now!! I have like 4 in stock at all times LOL I would love to hear more about the Peptide booster once you get more time with it @JoSometimes !!! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ

Re: The COSRX Thread

@jaaayp Sunblock besties!
I will definitely post after a few days. I swear some of my wrinkles are less pronouncedโ€ฆ

Re: The COSRX Thread

๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿซจ๐Ÿ˜ฑ @JoSometimes I love hearing about the before and aftersssss. Excited and looking forward to it ๐Ÿฅฐ

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes  Thanks for tagging me so I can read the updates!!! Great idea to start a brand page! Itโ€™s such a great brand!

Re: The COSRX Thread

@ather Iโ€™m surprised no one started a specifically for COSRX yet! It is a great brand!

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes Thank you for the update and creating this thread. I will keep an eye out for this when I am shopping next. The lip mask sounds great.

Re: The COSRX Thread

Of course @Mellmars1185! I look forward to hearing your thoughts if you do pick up something from them.

Re: The COSRX Thread

Thanks for the tag @JoSometimes . I look forward to hearing how it works and then giving it a try.

Re: The COSRX Thread

My pleasure @makeitup305! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes

Thank you for this thread.

Iโ€™m very curious about COSRX. Iโ€™ve seen them a lot on k-beauty online stores.

Iโ€™m interested in the lip masks, peptide booster & their propolis skincare line.

I will probably get some of their products when I finish some of my skincare products.

Re: The COSRX Thread

@Lila12345678 Lip mask? Highly recommended. I think they have a propolis lip mask too. If you ever try, please come post your thoughts!

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes
I will!

Re: The COSRX Thread

Thanks for the tag, @JoSometimes ! Glad to hear the peptide serumโ€™s working well for you so far, aside from a little tingling. Thatโ€™s much better than a burning or stinging sensation. ๐Ÿ‘

And thanks for starting a COSRX brand thread! Iโ€™ve been using their products for a few years; theyโ€™ve been available here in the US for quite a while now, though the best product selectionโ€™s still at the brandโ€™s site and some of the K-beauty/J-beauty online retailers. Iโ€™ll have to put together a list + feedback of all my COSRX products soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: The COSRX Thread

@WinglessOne I would absolutely toss it if my skin couldnโ€™t handle it.

Iโ€™m curious to know what else youโ€™ve tried. I saw a ceramide spray when I bought this one that I want to check out next time.

Re: The COSRX Thread

@JoSometimes  Iโ€™d have bought that spray (Balancium somethingorother Mist), but I canโ€™t use it on my face because it contains bergamot oil. Once upon a time I liked using Indie Leeโ€™s CoQ-10 Toner (also comes in a spray bottle) but had to stop because it also contained bergamot oil, which was causing unseen skin irritation. If your skin can handle citrus oils and you pick up COSRXโ€™s ceramide mist, I hope it works out for you. ๐Ÿ™‚
