@Tamara76 Thank you.
And I feel you because with Lush, if you don't arrive soon everything is gone! I've got my eyes on the rose bombshell, unicorn horn, and cherryish. Hopefully they'll be stock left by the time I get to my Lush on the 19th
On the preview posted below it says they will be available online and in stores on January 19th. Hopefully you'll be able to grab lots of goodies then, @Tamara76 ๐
Thanks, sweetie! I totally missed the date on the preview flyer and I know, like @MSena mentioned, that if we don't get there as soon as they are in stock, they sell out! โค๏ธ โค๏ธ โค๏ธ @SpaceLlama
This is awesome, @MSena! Thanks for sharing a gif and pictures of what it looks like. I might have to steal that idea for future bath bombs I want to share ๐
@SpaceLlama Please do! I love the moment when the bomb drops and starts fizzing technicolor ๐
Great photo and vid/time lapse @MSena!
I LOVE the "Honey I washed the Kids" scent and I was so excited to use this bathbomb and saved it for NYE...unfortunately the smell wasn't as strong as I expected! I still remember a few years ago, whenever I used a LUSH bath bomb, the scent would fill the entire house, to the point where DH would come home hours later and smell it. This one barely filled the bathroom. In fact, I've been having the same issue with LUSH's bathbombs in general. While they're a nice treat, I just don't find them fragrant enough anymore, or moisturizing (even those that are meant to be).
My favourites from the past was one with sea salt and seaweed, and another chocolate mint one that was FILLED with shea butter bits. So while it was a PITA to clean the tub, my skin was silky smooth after using it.
Today's bath bombs seem to just colour the water and give off a bit of scent for me ๐
Thatโs my favourite scent too @k617! Iโm full-on obsessed with the Scrubbee because it smells so heavenly and is so moisturizing. That one does actually scent my whole bathroom.
Me too @Beadshopgirl!! I have 4 Scrubees stocked in my linen closet right now and every time I open the door it makes me happy. I agree that the Scrubee DOES in fact scent the bathroom and sticks around. I wish they'd bring out the solid perfume again because the deliciousness is really emphasized by the soapy/buttery base of the Scrubee!
@k617 oh wow that's amazing! I've only known lush since I came to the US, and even then, I didn't start using regularly until like... two years ago ๐ I must've missed the better days. The whole-house-filling-scent sounds amazing.
I definitely agree with the moisturizing aspect. I still have to apply lotion after taking a bath bomb-infused bath because it just won't last long enough.
Wish I hadn't missed the seaweed one because seaweed does wonders for my skin; it's the one thing that doesn't dry me out after a bath, even without lotion. And chocolate mint, well. Happens to be my favorite ice cream flavor ๐
That seaweed one was definitely moisturizing, but a paint in the butt when the bath was draining! It was also a little gross, and I don't mind the slimy texture of seaweed normally! Its just.... since it was dried seaweed re-hydrated, it seemed a bit off....
I started using LUSH in 2004 ish, and used to have a co-worker at the restaurant I worked at in high school who worked at LUSH part time. She would buy things for me so that I could use her 50% employee discount, she was all too happy to help!! There were days she would stroll into work with my normally $400 "order"...it was glorious!!
There was actually a chocolate mint one this holiday, but it barely smelled like chocolate mint, in or out of the bath. Completely disappointing ๐
@k617 That co-worker discount sounds heavenly... one can only wish!
I do agree seaweed is hard to manage. I use a grain/seaweed based powder to exfoliate + moisturize sometimes, and it always leaves weird looking clumps in the basin. (To which my SO points and says "Dirt," and I reply "seaweed," where he goes "Sea dirt.")
And regarding the scrubee you ladies were talking of, I place one each in the bathroom and bedroom to scent the rooms ๐
Oooh I definitely want that unicorn horn!
Ohhh the Rose Bombshell looks awesome ๐
