o what will these products actually look like? The first collection to drop will be the pair's limited-edition holiday offering — a 12-piece line of Simondac's must-have picks, which will be available in-store and online December 14th. What we know so far is that it will be universal essentials and includes a setting powder.

"I didn't want to go too artsy or avant garde with my collection," Simondac says of the line. "I literally wanted someone's grandma to be able to walk into a MAC store anywhere in the world and be able to use these products. I made sure it was universal so that anyone who loves makeup, glamour, and sparkle will find something in it."

One of the products Simondac made sure to create was a loose powder, specifically designed with baking in mind. "Powder was the one product I needed," says Simondac. "We went through so many revisions. I wanted to nail the color so that any skin tone could use it to bake and dust off — I was so particular about it."

Interesting collab...

2017 has brought us countless MAC collaborations, from Nicki Minaj to Rossy de Palma. Now, it looks like 2018 will be another year of exciting launches, starting with a newly announced Puma project.

"Your favorite hues take a big step in a whole new direction! Stay tuned for a kickin' collaboration, coming soon. #PumaxMAC #ForAllTime," MAC wrote on Instagram Nov. 4. The teaser video was simply black and white with a silhouette of a sneaker and both MAC and Puma's logos.

There's no further info for now, so all we're left to do is speculate what this collaboration could be. A clothing/makeup collection combo? A new palette? Sweat-proof makeup for working out like we've been seeing lately? The possibilities are endless.

We at least know the surprising pair already have one thing in common: Rihanna. In 2014, the music and fashion icon became Puma's creative director for women's collections. She has since made Fenty Puma by Rihanna one of the most talked-about collections and shows of fashion week. Meanwhile, MAC collaborated with Rihanna back in 2013 on several product launches (who is still obsessed with the discontinued Riri Woo lipstick shade?). Rihanna, of course, has gone on to launch her own makeup collection with Fenty Beauty.

All we're saying is great minds think alike. And, Puma and MAC teaming up isn't only more of a good thing, it's the best thing.

That's not all to look forward to from MAC next year, either – Aaliyah collection, anyone? Needless to say, get your wallets ready

Check out this pricing mess on the .ca site.... Wanted to order some Robert Lee Morris items but the blush I want is $67!! There is definitely a pricing error. the Brush roll is only $45. I would buy it if I wanted those brushes but none of them interest me! The compact mirror, which should only be $25, is $150!

Awwwwwww yissssss! I’m a little confused as to why the blush is $40. Never used the formula but the compact is so flipping pretty! Waffling on the Concord grape lipstick. Thoughts? @veronika23

@liv545 I ordered the Concord Grape lipstick. All the colours were quite pretty, but this one is the most unique IMO!

@liv545   probably packaging. Almost each year during the holiday season MAC comes out with a "couture" collection. Usually the packaging is more luxe and that's why the price is higher.  Temptalia has some swatches up... that lipstick color does look nice! 🙂
