I have been ignoring mac for sometime..but couple of these new things are on my radar! I hope they bring back a red toned paint!

I still have a whole tube of red paint! Hard to come up with enough ways to use it! But Bare Canvas paint was my HG eye primer for yeeeeeears! Glad that one has still been available. 🙂

Hey MAC ladies, when does the Selena collection come out?  I love Selena so I may have to go check out a highlighter or two.

@makeupobesessed should be a pre sale Sept 28th. Online the 29th, stores Oct. 6... That's the most up to date info I've seen as posted in the OP.  Could always change though... 🙂

@makeupobesessed not sure if counters will get them too... I meant MAC stores... I tried to get info and was a we think so but didn't get an update... So maybe call your counter and ask... online always releases first so if you plan on getting something I'd double check that the counter will get it too... wouldn't want you to wait on that release and miss out online. Not sure if this one will sell out.

I can't believe that Canada is oos of the Taraji collection! Even all of star trek is still available. Not sure why thebay didn't get the taraji collection, was it limited release @veronika23? I regret not picking up the Taraji Glow thinking things would stick around 😔

Also I can't decide between Star trek strange new worlds vs highly illogical..I think one of these might be similar to shaft of gold, any thoughts?

I don't have Shaft of Gold (it looked too dark/gold for me) but I have SNW and Highly Illogical - the texture of these is different from the Extra Dimension Skinfinish (these are slightly sheerer - I found the Skinfinish to almost be too pigmented as a highlighter/cheek product. The ST work better for me. Both ST shades look pinker/redder than Shaft of Gold which looks very gold (based on swatches).

thanks @lachaton!! I am eyeing both and actually don't mind they are not as pigmented for similar reasons..I think I need both then 🙂

@Anewxa My Highly Illogical should be arriving tomorrow, I can compare it to my Shaft of Gold if you'd like! From memory I think SoG is going to be golder and more bronze, but more similar to Strange New Worlds than Highly Illogical, because the latter is more plummy

that would be awesome as that is the one I am more uncertain avout being darker and I am afraid it may look muddy on me..thanks @MK89

@Anewxa I was reading yesterday that MAC mislabeled the highlighters. So I don't know if it's OOS- OOS or just pulled for now. I haven't seen a collection sell out in like 2 years... so unsure. I don't know if it was something the counters are getting but if so it's always at least a week apart from online.  So 1 check with your counters, 2) check with a MAC store if you have one, 3) call MAC and see if it's really OOS or because you've heard it was mislabeled it was pulled.  If I remember I'll call when they open.

@veronika23 yes I wanted the darkest MSF really badly! MAC Live Chat told me that they won't be restocking online, and only four stores are selling them in person. I only managed to find the darker MSF at MAC Michigan Ave in Chicago, and they said they could ship it for me for an extra $7 charge. I hate shipping charges but I bit the bullet and it's finally on its way to me!

The mislabelling of the MSFs really confused me but I double checked that I was getting the darker shade, so fingers crossed
