Which shadow? Just Chilling? Or the palette? So many items still say coming soon. What a crap launch. Just Chilling wasn't even on the list of shadows when I called my counter to do a pre-order. Also if you are going to The Bay that day they have an event that if you spend 75$ + and give your points for that transaction to breast cancer charity you get 10$ off... Something like that anyway. lol

I wanted Joy To and Major Win.  I didn’t see them before when I searched the collection but I found it now!  I think I’ll just get joy to and snowflushed for now until I can swatch.  I agree this launch was bad.  US got early access to the sets last week as well and we didn’t. @veronika23

Oh glad you found them!  Ugh. Yeah I know... We are always getting the short end of the stick... and I think it bothers me even more with MAC because the company was started here. If anyone should get the VIP treatment it should be us! 😄 @sydtomato

@veronika23 Thank you so much for starting this MAC thread! I’ve been a great fan of MAC since they opened their first Montreal counter in The Bay in 1985 or 1986 while I was a McGill University student ! My first nail polishes, eyeshadows, lipsticks and eyeliners were from MAC and I still LOVE this brand! It’s too bad that they don’t make nail polish anymore, the colors were so pretty and unique ! Duochromes, metallics, frosts and shiny finishes ❤️❤️❤️ I still have some left and a few backups that are still in mint condition! They were so avant-garde and still are!

@keana1  you're welcome. 🙂  I've always been a MAC girl. It was my first higher end brand and always loved their products. I'm also a collector, although I've slowed down some. I have a few of their nail polishes too... some vintage bottles as well. If you like nail polish you might like indie brands. There is so much variety there.

I have some from Inglot which are duochromes ❤️ ! What other indie brands are you referring to?

Try ILNP, Fun Lacquer, Live Love Polish, and Femme Fatale. All of the brands also offer multichrome polishes with holographic glitters. ILNP and Live Love Polish have their own web shops. The rest you can get through What’s Up Nails, Beautometry, and Shiro Cosmetics in the US. If you’re in Canada, there are stores there that stock these brands.

@keana1@teufelmentioned some good ones. I like Femme Fatale for some of their colors... one of my fav brands in Emily de Molly. There's also Tonic, Colors by Llarowe, Bee's Knees. I also like Cirque but they do a lot of cremes. Emily de Molly is coming out with new colors this week and two might be up your alley. She has her US site but also sells via color4nails. They are in the US and while the shipping is slow.. it's low cost too. Same for Beautometry. Right now color4nails is doing a pre-order on a UK brand called Prism Polish UK and you might like some of the colors there too. You can also check out Harlow & Co and Girly Bits cosmetics. Both are in Canada and carry different indie brands. You might like POP polish that Girly Bits should have coming in soon. Oh and another thing you might like. It's called polish pickup. Every month for 4 days at the beginning at the month the site opens and indie makers each sell a polished based on a theme that was previously voted on. It's like a pre-order so it takes a while to actually get the polish but the shipping is 5$ for Canada which is pretty good. 🙂  Let me know if you have more questions. I've really gotten more into indie brands over the last year.

@veronika23 Already gave you lots of great info! Just popping in to second the suggestions naive for ILNP, Cirque, and Femme Fatale. They have some really gorgeous polishes! And a variety of colours and finishes. I like the seasonal collections a lot. I also like some A England ones,
