Best KVD LOCK-IT Powder Foundation Alternative [discontinued]

I found the KVD Lock It foundation a few years back and it’s been my go to product, I’m lazy well put it that way and I will build up powder foundation fast on my face and not care if I look like a donut. 🤣

I always had this problem with makeup when it comes to being actually being able to cover my skin without it cracking, creasing, looking overly dry yet still transferring bad and rubbing off, for a long time I was a ride or die MAC Studio Fix fluid/powder guy and I’d say it’s pretty middle ground for me since trying the KVD powder, MAC is an “it does what you should expect” product for me but I had problems with dry patches, getting oily yet the makeup falling off, face feeling heavy and if I wanted to build the coverage my shade would weirdly oxidize orangey, not cute, it just wasn’t versatile for me if I wanted to cover up without 4 products.

KVD Lock-It checked off all of my issues and I don’t have a store near me now which is super unfortunate and as we see it’s discontinued, it feels pretty dry when I first put it on and that scared me at first but it wouldn’t even cling to an imperfection or random piece of skin, it feels half as heavy as MAC did when I tried to build Studio Fix and that’s only when I use it to erase my face haha so that’s expected, but even when you can feel your face starting to need a powdering or at least for me personally I will look in the mirror and it’ll have been 3-4 hours (I don’t use setting spray either) and the coverage really hasn’t budged nor has it broken up, just bare minimum expected areas need a slight powder but not fix.

I have no idea if explaining how it works will help me here haha I use shade 120 for Lock-It which is like, sometimes a bit light for me but closest match I’ve ever had with my neutral skin, not cool, not warm, literally looks like my skin tone right now where it’s winter.

I would greatly appreciate anyone’s recommendations on a powder foundation with similar qualities if you understand what I’m putting down with that description 🤣 🤦🏼 like if you’ve liked KVD but liked a different similar but “better” foundations in those terms I’d love to know, I probably wouldn’t care too much right now if I wasn’t using the last outer corner of the pan hahaha.
