Two different tier levels… Rouge or Insider ??

Hi , 

I’ve been a Sephora Rouge member since 2017 but for some reason when I use my iPhone to communicate with the community my Sephora profile says Rouge Rookie which is normal but when I use my laptop to communicate with the community it says Insider Rookie? Why do I have two different tier levels ? My Rouge status stays the same in my account it’s just the community interaction that changes. Any suggestions to what is going on ? Thanks in advance!

I love to see what you Sephoraites talk about besides beauty products and life ..trying to pick the perfect eyeshadow pallette or lipstick shade is like picking your favorite type of Wine 🍷..I am normally a red wine gal but I can go to the white or sparkling or blush you name it..  I am just an insider working on upping my level in the next few months trying not to lose points .. what's your pros and cons of each level from entry (insider ) VIB and Rouge .. I am remotely new to Sephora shopping 🛍 online in order to earn the next levels..I spread out my purchases.

@CocoLancome28  Just so you know, points don't expire on a rolling basis. I think the "points accumulation year" ends on December 31, and if memory serves, I'm re-qualified as Rouge till December 31, 2024.

I think, to be honest, that qualifying as Rouge likely should be a consequence of buying the things you love to play with and restocking products that work for you. I like the extra perks that come with being Rouge, but I wouldn't re-qualify just to get them. That said, I take great delight in them!

I was invited to take part in a survey awhile back about what would be some great Rouge perks. So what Rouge members get in future may be upgraded. But for now, just get what you think you'll enjoy, or that serves a need. 😊

Just wanted to clarify something. Status is earned based on a calendar year, Jan 1 - Dec 31, but points work on a rolling calendar and expire 12 months after your last purchase or other point activity, independent of your status.

I’m embarrassed to say that I just saw your reply now. You will probably never see this response but I wanted to respond thinking it’s better late then never. Lol.
Honestly; I don’t think there is anything special between the tier levels besides  getting a higher discount during the savings events that happen twice a year. Honestly; I’ve been going directly to the brands website and getting a even higher discounts around 25% to 40% off when I’m interested in a item

@julliette88 There is a glitch with the system.  Mine does the same thing.  I'm Rouge but it says Insider sometimes.

@SportyGirly125 @julliette88  I've had the same issue. Sephora is working on fixing these website problems.
