Re: Holiday sets canada

Hey, @Whatamyaloves, in terms of best values you could look at it a few ways. But first, the kits in question:

Sephora Favorites Holiday Sparkly Clean Beauty Kit

Has 4 sized beauty products (a clear brow gel, a glowy mauve cream blush, a terracotta satin lippie and a pinky tinged lip oil/gloss), one travel sized product (mascara) and skincare deluxe sampler (toner). With the caveat that I'm a pale skinned person, I think these items largely work across skin tones.

Whereas the Sephora Favorites Holiday Lip Set

Is entirely comprised of lip products, 4 full sized (one lip liner, and three glosses) and 3 mini items (one lip liner, one lipstick and one lip gloss). I think most of these, but not all, can largely work across a variety of skin tones.

There's the best $, i.e., cost per savings. For both kits, overall, if you want at least two of the full sized items, and you'd be happy to use or gift the other items, you're largely getting a "good" value for the kit. In both cases you're paying apx. 40% of the appraised value of the kits, but the value is slightly better with the Lip Kit.

The lip kit definitely has more luxury/high ticket items, with PMG, Patrick Ta and Charlotte Tilbury, although the PMG is a mini (and these have notoriously bad packaging). the clean kit on the other hand, allows for almost a full face done.

Now, what it comes down to, @Whatamyaloves, is which products will you use more? Do you want to expand your lippie collection, then the lip kit is the best deal. Do you not like pink or red lippies, then maybe not the lip kit. Do you want a full face (minus complexion products), then the clean set is going to be better. Do you not like the dewy look, then maybe avoid the clean set. They're both great values (assuming you were already wanting to try two of the full sized products). And during the sale, they will be even better value. I don't think either is necessarily a bad purchase (again, assuming these are products you want to use or gift).
