Creative Uses for Sephora Reward Boxes

Hi everyone!

Today in the mail I finally got my Sephora 1000pt reward - the Highlight like a Pro set! I am super excited to try out the palette and brush. It was totally worth it for that many points. But I noticed the rewards came in a really nice box, even with a magnetic lid. I would hate to just throw it out so I want to put it to good use. Do you guys have any DIY suggestions for the box, like a useful decoration for a vanity or beauty room? What have you guys done with past reward boxes? I know the 500pt rewards come in nice little boxes too. I've included an image of the box for those who aren't familiar. My first thought was to store palettes, but that seems too easy. What does everyone think?? I'd love to hear all your awesome ideas!!

I have three of these (one extra large, two smaller ones) and I use them to store my liquid lipsticks. I stack the 2 smaller ones inside the large one.

I definitely like the ideas of storing makeup or crafts in the boxes. Either would benefit from having some dividers in the box. You could easily DIY those with more cardboard and some hot glue/super glue. I have similar boxes that I use for photos and memory boxes to use for future scrapbooking. If you do seasonal decorating, you could store your seasonal decorations in there too (if they are small enough). And this seems obvious, but prefer to have a nice box when I give gifts so that could be something else.

I have a stack of the reward boxes and don't want to throw them away either.  I'm going to use them as boxes to store makeup and craft items I have in the house.

I feel the same way you do about the nice boxes! I do a lot of crafty things so I thought about projects for these boxes for a while and I came up with this...I made a friend a gift of personalized, embossed stationary/note cards and envelopes! First I painted the box black. If it's a shiny box I sand the box with a light weight sand paper just to rough it up so the paint sticks, then I paint the box black so all the designs are covered then I buy some nice hand made paper, that I usually get in an art store, and I cover the box and then I put the stationary and cards with envelopes in the fancy box, my friends loved them! I always paint and cover the outside of the boxes. Sometimes I line the inside with scraps of velvet or scraps of quilted fabric and make trinket boxes like for jewelry that you wear daily to sit on your dresser. I made on box to hold some of our "tv remotes"! Or you can decorate them to keep your keys in for your car or house! I do crafting a lot so I'm a box saver! I even save Fancy small boxes just to use as a pattern to make fancy little gift boxes!
