Halloween!  It seems like every year it becomes more and more popular.  The candy.  The decorating.  The costumes.  It's so much fun for us to share in the celebration of the season.  Post in as much or as little detail as you'd like.

Craziest thing you’ve ever received trick or treating?

A gummy pickle. I was kinda sad when it was lime flavored instead of an actual pickle flavor 🥺

Did anyone ever play a Halloween trick on you?

Yes when I was about 4 or 5 my neighbor was holding candy super still I thought they were part of the decorations and when I grabbed the candy they moved and I was shook 😁

Craziest thing I recieved trick or treating

Full size candy bars! I thought this was the coolest thing!

If you could trunk or treat with any car, what would it be? I am not a car person, but the one car I secretly love is a vintage VW Bug, which would probably be a terrible car to trunk or treat with 🤣

Milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Milk chocolate all the way! But I love all chocolate really, as long as it's not too dark and bitter. 🍫

Actually, @caitbird , it would be a hood or treat for a VW Bug since the engine is in what we Americans call the trunk and the trunk is under what we call the hood (at least in the original VWs.

When I was growing up, our neighbor had a VW.  She took her son (my age) and me to see Herbie the Love Bug in her VW Bug!  It's the first movie I remember seeing.  We were about 5 yo.

@Titian06  ah, I didn't know that (you can see I really am not a car person lol). I guess hood or treat doesn't quite have the same ring to it 😂

That's a fun memory! I think my paternal grandmother, whom I never met (she passed when my dad was very young) had a VW bug at one point. So maybe that is part of the reason I'm drawn to them. But really, I just think they are cute!

@peculiarzmakeup  ooh, great question - it's so hard to choose! But if I had to pick just one, maybe Endangered Species Chocolate milk chocolate bar - it is the perfect sweet, rich milk chocolate IMO. For regular candy bars, I like Reese's and Butterfingers a lot too. How about you?
