There are definitely better alternatives. If you want to pay for name brand and packaging, then get it but I would recommend summer fridays nyx or elf, which has a great lip oil dupe

Yes it is so worth it. I got one 3 months ago and I use it almost everyday and there's barely a dent. Love all shades totally recommend. Happy Valentine's day!
