Sephora makeovers

Hi everyone! 💖 i've been thinking of going to get a makeover in sephora and i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats its like? Also how do any of you think i should get my makeup done? ☺️ I'd love to hear any ideas

I just got my first one yesterday and I liked it, I told her I like radiant skin, and never do a dark smoky eye with a pop of color and a dramatic wing. I bought a wild pair of lashed since I never wear them. I gave a lot of artistic freedom to her. some parts I had to do myself, like my water lines and the outline of my lips. it's definitely not a look I would do on myself, but that's what I was going for. unfortunately, I've got terrible fibromyalgia and went home with my beautiful face on and showed my primary partner then immediately passed out for four hours. but oh well🤷🤦.

hey @Anonymous !!! It's been quite a while since you posted about getting the Sephora Makeover. Sooo...didja do it? if you did, what kind of look did you go for and what did you think?

@Anonymous I've had a few done at Sephora. They are free with a $50 purchase. I really enjoy doing them. I've been lucky to have really lovely MUA's do my makeup. I usually each year to get my makeup done before my works gala. They typically ask what kind of look I'm going for. I explain I'm going to a gala... show them the outfit I'm wearing... and what I normally like to wear. They typically go off & select some items from the store. They usually start with cleansing & prepping the skin- This is my FAVORITE part of the makeover, because they usually use new products on me that I end up loving! Then they do their magic, and make me over to some glam goddess. I always purchase lashes & they put them on for me as well. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. I love getting the makeovers done. If I have more excuses to get them done, I totally would!

@Anonymous do something you wouldn’t normally do on a daily basis. Like, a full glam look. Because, why not? I find it’s the best way to learn some new technics also!
