Scotch tape

So this may be an old trick, but it’s new to me, so I wanted to share.
I have been using RX retin-a for years, but whenever I have to stop using for a period of time, I hate the few weeks it takes to get my skin used to it. It feels like my entire face is going peel off and looks absolutely awful.

Recently, someone recommended using scotch tape on the dry, peeling areas before applying makeup. I couldn’t believe I never thought to do this before, but it will pull off the flakes & make it easier to apply makeup. Try it! It’s amazing. ##

Re: Scotch tape

Holy cats!  This is brilliant.  I can't tell you how many times I've had flakes that I try to peel off when using Retin-A.  Thank you for the tip.

RE: Scotch tape

Would definitely not recommend applying adhesive tape to your face. Definitely could cause a reaction or rash. Derma blading is the way to go to effectively and safely remove facial hair and exfoliate top layer of skin.
