SOS my lashes need a friend!

Hi peeps!

I am thinking into acquiring a new eyelash curler and I am fairly hesitant between the Shiseido Eyelash Curler Eyelash Curlerand the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Which one do you prefer? 🙂

Re: SOS my lashes need a friend!

@ndrrslbnzslrz Both are good but it finally comes down to your eye curvature measurements. The Shu Uemura has a flatter curve and is more suitable for those with flatter eyes.

Shiseido

Width of Arc = 30.00 mm

Height of Arc = 9.00 mm

Radius of Arc = 17.00 mm

Shu Uemura

Width of Arc = 15.00 mm

Height of Arc = 1.00 mm

Radius of Arc = 28.63 mm

How to measure curvature of your eye (in mm)

1. Grab a strip of paper and place it flat against your eye to measure the length of your eye (width of arc). Mark the endpoints on paper.

2. Grab another strip of paper and place against the curve of your eye. Mark the endpoints on paper.

3. Place the paper strips next to each other and align the endpoints (inner corner with inner corner, etc.) to form an arc. Measure the height of the arc.

4. Plug in the numbers for width and height of arc to

(Replace [dot] with . )

to calculate the radius of the arc

5. Now you can compare which curler better suits your eye shape!
