How soon is too soon when it comes to opening&trying new makeup palettes?

@missaa8 I always open mine to make sure nothing is broken and count that day as the first day. Usually palettes say they are good for 12-18 months after opening. I also wipe my palettes down and makeup products I am using after I use them to prolong the life. I did use a palette that was over 2 years old once and it gave me an eye infection.

@SportyGirly125 I still have my aether beauty palette from over 2 years ago (thank you, JCP Sephora) and it still gives vibrance, but I have to wear a solid primer if I'm going to continue putting crushed gemstones near my eyes 😆
