Makeup brush cleaning tips n tricks

what are your favorite makeup brush cleaning techniques, and how frequently do you clean them?

I clean them once a week if I use multiple times otherwise after each use. 

I dont feel like money spent on brush cleaner is worth it. I let them sit in warm water with dawn soap for a minute before I swirl around in my hand & rinse. Lay them on a microfiber towel.

@beautyandbella , you might do this, but grouping and cleaning by size.  Like all crease brushes get swirled and rinsed together. 

Microfiber towel to wick away excess water 💦 

For foundation that's caked on dense brushes, I hit those with Dawn powerwash and then clean them last... Thanks @makeitup305 for that one

I use a sigma cleaning mat and deep clean my face brushes once a week with SEPHORA COLLECTION Deep-Cleaning Brush and Sponge Shampoo I clean my eye brushes daily.
