Foundation rubbing off

I have very fair skin and my significant other has dark skin. We can’t kiss if I’m wearing makeup because my makeup will rub off onto their skin and it’s embarrassing and annoying for the both of us. I’ve tried various types of primers. I currently wear Kat Von D’s foundation and I’ve tried urban decays setting spray with no luck. Any suggestions?

Definitely set with translucent powder AND setting spray!

Primers probably won’t make a difference for this problem... have you tried using powder to set your foundation? I find mine are more transfer proof if I use a powder to set. Even if you just use a little over the areas that make contact with your significant other might help.

Try the cover fx setting spray they have an illuminating one and a matte one. I use the illuminating one but the other day after I did my make up I fell asleep and my make up was intact and didn't transfer on to my clothes

Hourglass has an amazing foundation called Vanish, I've never had my foundation run off on my boyfriends face.
