I've been loving the  FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Pro Filt'r Mattifying Primer. It feels really comfortable on the skin and helps keep my makeup in place all day. My holy grail primer for oily skin is definitely the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer Standard Size - 1 oz/ 30 mL. It has a silky texture and controls my shine without overly mattifying my complexion.

@stephysos  My favorite is the Becca Backlight Priming Filter. It sinks in nicely and hold my base makeup all day.

@stephysos I have a super oily t-zone and the occasional bout of acne. I LOVE the COVER FX - Mattifying Primer With Anti-Acne Treatment!! It keeps my oily t-zone in check throughout the day and feels really nice on. Plus it has the added benefit of salicylic acid which helps treat and prevent future breakouts. Even if my skin is behaving, I use this because it makes me feel like I’m mitigating any potential breakouts caused by heavier face makeup. Sometimes I do wear it with just a bit of powder on top if I’m into doing any foundation to keep the oil at bay. I finish with a dusting of TOO FACED - Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder – Peaches and Cream Collection or COVER FX - Matte Setting Powder

I recommend trying the BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector . I have found this instantly mattifies and smoothes the skin. I tend to use it in my T-Zone.

I find that it really depends on your goals and where you live.

I personally love the Tatcha primer Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer 0.7 oz/ 20 git really takes away any sheen without completely mattifying. Some people swear by using URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray underneath their make up for lasting power. I have tried smash box photoready and benefit pore minimizing primer and I wasn't impressed. I also had Marc Jacobs coconut primer that was OK. Good luck shopping!
