Anti aging makeup

What foundation do you think is best to hide wrinkles and what’s the best concealer as well ?

Re: Anti aging makeup

@SaraCDC  No foundation or concealer can really hide wrinkles. I say that as a woman in her 50s with prominent undereye lines. Instead of makeup, focus on skincare to treat your wrinkles. What’s your current skincare routine (brands + product names), even if it’s just cleanser & moisturizer? Also, do you know your skin type/behavior (dry, oily, combo, or balanced—not too dry or oily anywhere)?

I use a retinoid, peptides, hydrating ingredients, and moisturizer to treat my wrinkles. None of this will erase my lines—they’re not going anywhere unless I opt for cosmetic procedures, and I’m too big a baby about hypodermic needles in my face to go through with that. 😅 But my skincare routine does soften those lines enough that they don’t interfere with my concealer. (I use concealer to mask hyperpigmentation.) I’m fine with that. I mean, I earned those lines through decades of laugher and tears; I don’t need them to disappear. I understand some folks are more self-conscious about their lines though. If you want a dramatic longterm change in the appearance of your lines, you’ll need to see a dermatologist to discuss in-office/clinic procedures.

Re: Anti aging makeup

Hi! first I want to say aging and wrinkles are never a bad thing, they show growth, resilience, life experience, and the smiles you shared with friends family and so much more.

Now onto my recommendations: something not too full coverage, and not fragrant. Don’t layer too much onto your skin it will become cakey and settle into your fine lines. have a good moisturizer i love The INKEY List Omega Water Cream Moisturizer 1.7/50 for a light weight moisturizer and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration – Face and Body Moisturizer for Skin Repair M... for a thicker product for a powder i LOVE the mac studio fix loose powder in translucent (you can get it at ulta)

Remember wrinkles aren’t going to go away with makeup. it’s different than redness or discoloration. Although there are products to help lessen the appearance, they don’t go away. What you see in the media is very heavily edited so keep that in mind.

Re: Anti aging makeup

I’m not too sure off the top of my head but I highly recommend you check out NikkiLaRose on YouTube. She’s a professional makeup artist and speaks about what works best for aging skin, etc. Her super long foundation and skin tint videos will certainly mention it. She also does Lives on Sundays and you can ask her opinions on things as well!
