Fake Tan

I’ve never had a tan in my life. What’s the best tanning product for face and body that won’t transfer, will look natural and not oompa loompa-y? I’m very fair and have sensitive skin. High end or preferably drug store. Thank you!

Hi @DaneShaws0n I am really fair too with sensitive skin. I've tried tons of self tanners and a lot of them are really great like Tarte Brazilliance, Vita Liberata, St-Tropez and so on.. But lately i've been using Bondi Sands mousse and i LOVE it! It's way less expensive than high end brands and gives me a gorgeous deep tan. I have no problems with patchiness and it doesn't make me look like an oompa-loompa. I use it on both body and face. Plus it smells like delicious coconut instead of this weird scent other self tanners have.

I buy it directly on their website and i wait until they have 30% off which happens pretty frequently.

@DaneShaws0n I am also very very fair and prefer to be very tan. Most of the fake tans i will mention will take me from Hourglass stick shade Porcelain to shade Nude (10 shade difference). I'll go ahead and say that none of these are drug store. I have just personally never found an inexpensive one that had a good tone or lasted well. All of these are transfer proof-ish after you wash them off ( 4-8 hours after application depending on formula) 

1. St. Tropez Self Tan Extra Dark Bronzing Mousse $45. 

2. Vita Liberata pHenomenal 2-3 Week Tan Mousse in Dark $54.

3. Tarte Glow with the Faux Self tan $39 (i def have to build the color on this one and it can be a bit patchy if you're not careful) 

4. Spray tans. If you can find a Versa Spa booth near you, try it. If you're comfortable with it a tech spraying you will give best results. A good tech can make all the difference.
