the key for rose water is for it to be organic and cold pressed. a lot of products claim to be rose water and they are, except all the good stuff you need from it was in the first batch of it and you end up with a very diluted and seemingly useless product. other companies claim to make rose water but its rose-scented-water *eyeroll* ingredients is key!

rose water is more hydrating than anything else. it's like a hydrating toner. so if you get acne from excessive dryness and the skin cells are clogging your pores, yes it may help. even if you have combination skin/ oily skin, you should make sure to keep your skin hydrated at all times to avoid acne. but as for clearing it, I don't think so. unless like I said, you have excessive dryness. lush has a tea tree toner which is meant for oilier/acne prone skin. And I'm sure you can make your own one as well.

Agreed. I love rose as an ingredient for boosting moisture and maybe even helping a bit with brightening, but I've never noticed it having an effect on acne.
