The Ordinary The Acne Set

Is The Ordinary Acne Set okay to use on dry skin?

Re: The Ordinary The Acne Set

@Harper01  The Ordinary The Acne Set  might work well for dry skin, though the products in that set seem more geared toward oily, balanced, and combo skin types. I have mostly-dry combo skin, and if I was putting together an acne set of The Ordinary products, I’d probably swap #The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Exfoliating Blemish Solution 1 oz / 30 mL with The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution Pore Clearing Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL  . The Anhydrous BHA serum contains squalane, which is a good moisturizer that might boost the moisturizing ability of #The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan 3.3 oz / 100 ml (a gel moisturizer that might not do a good enough job on my skin).

Or maybe I’d keep the BHA serum that’s originally in The Acne Set, and instead swap out the beta glucan moisturizer for The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides - Moisture-Rich Surface Hydration 3.4 oz / 100 mL  which is more geared toward dry skin.

If you have a local Sephora, you could ask for samples of some of these products to patch test at home.
