Supplements?

a quick summary of my skin is that is was horrendous (im not exaggerating) and lately its been clearing up more, but it still isn't clear and I still breakout. I'm on birth control already which does seem to help and just recently I've started taking natures bounty hair skin and nails to see if it can help me more in any of those three fields. 

there are a lot of supplements and things on this site that claim to help clear acne, but is it worth it? like does it help at all or would it make my skin worse? and with the price is there even a point? I understand everyone's skin I different so im just asking for your thoughts on the issue.

I really like Hum's Daily Cleanse supplement. It actually helps with my breakouts even around the time of my period. They sell it on Sephoras website but if you go to Hums website it's way cheaper bc they give you discounts.

hair, skin, and nail vitamins actually tend to cause breakouts. biotin is a big big acne causer. so, if you wanna look for supplements to help your skin, look for ones without biotin.

@JosieMiller I've read that supplements don't do much, but some people swear by them.  I've searched the supplements on the site and the cost is super high.  A good idea might be to try to find similar ones that are inexpensive and give it a go; I believe GNC has a money back guarantee, and many drugstores certainly do.  GNC can even be a little pricey, so maybe if you find that something works, then you can see if Wal-Mart or Target carries something similar.  Also, you can try eating "healthier" and see if that makes a difference.  Good nutrition is a nice starting point.  Best of luck!
