Hello everyone.
I am looking for some type of skincare routine.
I have very sensitive skin that is dry and also acne prone.
does anyone have any recommendations? 🙂

Re: Skincare recommendations

currently I use anything the 3 step system from clean & clear but it doesn’t seem to work.
My acne is quite mild but it can get severe. I have yet to see a dermatologist as my doctor won’t take my concerns seriously.
I tried some Clinique stuff from Sephora but I had a pretty bad reaction and needed antibiotics to clear it up.

Re: Skincare recommendations

Your best bet would be to be evaluated by a dermatologist for treatment, @kaylaannette017. Outside of that, I'd consider looking for a gentle, hydrating cleanser, a good moisturizer, sunscreen, and a BHA treatment to use two or three times a week to help with the breakouts.

Re: Skincare recommendations

@kaylaannette017 What kind of acne? Is it serious or mild? What are you using currently? Anything you love that's working for you,  a type of product you've been itching to try? Give me some background skin information

Have you been to a dermatologist, did they recommend anything?

Re: Skincare recommendations

@kaylaannette017 I would really recommend seeing a dermatologist.  They specialize in skin and could diagnose your acne, gives you more of chance for success if you know what kind of acne you have and what may be breaking you out.  There are ingredients in skin care,  one is fragrance,  that can trigger acne in some people, especially someone with acne prone skin.

There are some great affordable products by The Inkey List and The Ordinary that can really help acne prone skin, these routines take time to show results, 3-4 weeks in some cases.

There's a YouTube Cassandra Bankson, she struggles with very serious acne and she's posted alot of informative videos about it and products she has used or tried, if your looking into certain products she's trialed many different ones.

But it really does matter what is causing your breakouts if it goes beyond clogged pores
