I recently purchased the Foreo Luna (black) for all skin types. Before I started using this device I had pretty clear skin. Although, I am prone to acne and have very oily skin. I initially purchased it because I felt like my pores were clogged and wanted a really good device that could deep cleanse my skin for me. After my first initial use I started breaking out on my cheeks, chin, and lip like I was back in high school. My skin has never reacted this way before except for when I had very bad acne for all 4 years of high school. I haven’t had bad acne like that since 2010. So this break out is definitely alarming. What i’d like to know is does the Luna cause breakouts? Is this normal for users? Is this simply a face purge or is it permanently messing with my skin?

When your skin is purging, it will most likely be white heads in multiple areas around the face, even places where you normally don't get pimples. If this is not the case, and they are in normal spots, then it is most likely a reaction to the foreo. I used the little Sephora brand face scrubber with similar bristles and I had the same reaction. I would try using it with less pressure on the skin, and if that doesn't work, I would return it. I hope this helps!
