SPF recs for sensitive skin

what spf recs do you all have for sensitive, acne prone skin? and preferably without having white cast?

Re: SPF recs for sensitive skin

hi!

i love the Supergoop! Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion Sunscreen SPF 50 1.7 oz/ 50 mL. it’s worked really well for my sensitive skin! and doesn’t leave a white cast!

Re: SPF recs for sensitive skin

@ankithaaa  This partly depends on what your skin’s sensitive to. Do you know if you’re sensitive to any particular UV filter in sunscreens, or to any other specific ingredients? Also, what kind of finish (besides no white cast) do you prefer: matte, natural skin, radiant/glowy, or super dewy/glass skin?

For a 100% invisible (no cast) finish, chemical sunscreens are your best options. I don’t want to recommend one without knowing answers to the above questions, though.

So instead, I’ll recommend a mineral sunscreen you can find (in the US) at Target: Native Unscented Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 30. On my medium-deep skin tone, it’s nearly invisible: I just lightly dust a sheer tinted powder over it and it’s undetectable. It leaves a natural radiant skin finish and doesn’t streak or pill. Native also makes a fragrance version of this sunscreen, plus fragranced and unscented body versions. I don’t know if the body versions apply as nicely as the face version, but you get more product for your money with the body version so that’s something to consider.
