My acne just won’t clear up!

I started getting cyctic and puss tipped acne on my chin and jaw line around the time of my last birthday. I’m 35 and am sure it’s hormone related. Nothing I try will clear it up. It’s constant. What is the best product to clear acne and what is the best product to heal the scars without causing more acne

What's your routine? If you have pustules, salicylic acid cleansers will help. I use Murad. Honestly the technique is most important!! Google "LABeautyologist 60 second rule" for washing your face. Also, a sulfur mask should help every few days. To avoid drying your skin out, use a hyaluronic acid essence after washing your face. You can also use azaleic acid to bring down the inflammation and redness (The Ordinary has both those products). None of these things cost a lot. It's consistency and patience unfortunately. I'm your age and I had to give up dairy, reduce sugar and get on spironolactone. But if I eff up the routine I get acne again 😭

@Anonymous Differin is what worked me. If you do choose Differin, start off using it every 2 nights, and work your way up to every night.

Have you spoken to a dermatologist about it?  If it is caused by hormones, the next step would be to speak to your OB/GYN about it and see what they can offer.  If you are on the pill, perhaps changing the prescription.  If you are not, perhaps a low-dose pill might help? Given your age I'd start with verifying the cause to find the cure.
