Apparently I’ve been using a moisturizer the past 2 weeks instead of a face cleanser and my skin is paying for it. I have quite a few cystic acne spots in my forehead and I want them gone ASAP. Any miracle products or routines while my face recovers? I have combination skin, mostly cystic acne/black heads/large pores. I’m also 23 if that helps.

@sugerplum1972 Oh no!!  that must be pretty upsetting.  I found 10% sulfur masks make really great spot treatments for those giant volcanic under-skin-erupting cystic acnes. They are visible on your skin though, so maybe best to use at night.

@sugerplum1972definitely my HG cleanser for clogged pores is Kate Somerville ExfoliKate™ Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash with AHA & Enzymes 4 oz/120 ml and the exfoliating mask (I think there's still a set with both in the sale section for $60). Both really help keep my skin clear. Otherwise I use the PEACE OUT - Acne Healing Dots but they're not miracle workers, unfortunately and they don't have much of an effect on my really bad cystic spots but the biggest thing they do for my worst breakouts is keep me from picking at them 🤷‍♀️
