How to cover redness

Before applying foundation, apply Murads Spot Acne Treatment on clean skin, let it dry. Moisturize. Apply a small amount of Too FacedInsurance Primer over the blemish (works really well!), let it dry. Use a color corrector, and then apply the foundation. Murads treatment should help reduce the size and redness of the blemish.

RE: How to cover redness

Hi. Before applying foundation, I like to use Dr. Jart’s Tiger grass color corrector or CoverFX’s green color corrector. Dr. Jart’s isn’t as ashy and leaves a smooth even finish! Hope this helps!

How to cover redness

Im in the same boat lol, i really think using a green color corrector before foundation/concealer just to the red areas, for me i can never see the red after and it looks really even.

RE: How to cover redness

I'm in a similar situation currently as well. I recently rid of my acne but was left with redness. I agree that the green concealer can help but make sure to use only a small amount and a full coverage foundation on top. I used to do this and when my foundation broke down by the end of the day the green tones peaked through and people thought I looked sick! Lol. I would recommend looking into skincare instead as a long term solution though. I use a cream with retinol in it which I find has helped reduce some of the redness. It's important to keep in mind that if you do use a product with retinol in it, you must put sunscreen on during the day. In the meantime, find a medium to full coverage foundation that's long-lasting and works with your skin type. Hope this helps

Re: How to cover redness

Normally when there's red spots on your face you cover it up with a green concealed first. I would use smash box green coverage. It's really good! After covering the red with green concealed you can go in with your regular concealed and then a foundation
