Foundation for acne

I have combo skin, I have acne scars and cystic acne. I need a foundation that lasts (like sitting outside through baseball games in the 90+ heat😅), will cover my acne, and not make me look cakey. I use Estée Lauder double wear now, would like other options.

Re: Foundation for acne

I relate to you, I have acne, acne scars, I am super oily, especially because I am a server and sweat due how hot my job, involving carrying heavy things and running up and down stairs.

Here are what I highly recommend to keep your makeup on even through hot times. ((Though I recommend you not touching your face ofc cause for obvious reasons it will rub off sometimes))

Hydrate your face before you apply makeup!! Like moisturizer will save you. Apply 5-10 mins before putting on makeup. I use glow recipe

Here are a list options of my personal favs....

Drug store/Ulta:

You will need a strong primer to grip on your makeup, such as elf power grip primer.

L'oreal infallible 24 hr fresh wear (foundation)

elf camo cc cream SPF (foundation)

Dermablend Professional Leg and Body Makeup SPF <trust me it can be worn as foundation too (foundation)

Elf oil-free satin finish (foundation)

Maybellin Super Stay Active Wear 30 hr (foundation)

NYX can't stop won't stop magnifying powder, this helps you not look cakey and covers up oiliness and pores

Sephora:

This is a higher end primer but it's called milk hydro grip.

NARS soft matte (foundation)

it cc old-free matte SPF (foundation)

Huda Beauty mini powder (set under eyes for a cleaner look, similar to the NYX just not powdery)

SETTING SPRAY IS KEY. This is a totally different one that isn't sold in stores. Melanie Mills Super Lite Long Lasting Setting Spray... Buy this off their website and you'll thank me later.

Good luck!
