First makeup

Hi I’m starting to get into makeup. And as a teenager I sometimes breakout when I use certain products .What should I use as a first timer

Re: First makeup

hello!! i’m actually a teen as well, and I have acne-prone oily skin 🙂 I wear makeup constantly because I’m in a performing sport, and also during special occasions, in my opinion I find that the maybelline age rewind concealer works well for me, the maybelline fit me foundation, (I use the one for oily skin ) the setting powder I use is the loose setting powder from bareminerals, but the loose setting powder from maybelline works well for me as well!! I’ve never really had a eyeliner or mascara break me out before, and my favorite blush to use is the mineral blush from ulta the maybelline true match blush used to be my go to as-well, its very subtle but natural, as you match it to whatever your undertone is. I don’t use a primer or a setting spray because I haven’t been able to find one that doesn’t break me out though :(, after wearing any makeup though make sure you fully remove any makeup with micellar water, or a cleansing balm and double cleanse with your cleanser to make sure you get rid of any excess sunscreen or makeup!! I love the wet and wild highlighters, I’ve never had any issues with them breaking me out, but I tend to get so oily that I don’t really need any highlighter, I recommend you do research on any makeup products before you buy them and if you have oily skin like me, try to avoid any oil in the makeup you use, because it can clog your pores, if you have a dermatologist you should ask them for recommendations of what to use for your particular skin time, I asked mine and she helped me so much. Keep in mind that all the products I recommended work for me, and they might not work for you, I love to help people out and if you have any questions on acne prone makeup I can definitely help :)) ( i hope this helped u )

@leixx @Maybelline, Colourpop and Morphe are great brands to start with.
