Face primer

Am looking for a face primer. I have tried several different products for a natural day wear solution including some brands that aren't sold in Canada anymore. I've tried Thalgo CC cream, St. Tropez Illuminating Face tanner, Pur Minerals Illuminating primer (These three are the most recent). I use an SPF 15 moisturizer too. I bought the Laura Mercies oil free primer. My everyday routine is to not use a foundation (I use foundation for going out when I have more time to prep). Any suggestions or reccomendations? I have medium dark oily skin.

Re: Face primer

My go-tos for face primers that don't have a ton of icky ingredients in them: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer Standard Size - 1 oz/ 30 mL and BECCA - Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector. The Becca might be a great match to combat oiliness!

Re: Face primer

The smash box photo finish "minimize pores" primer in the purple packaging is great.  The Dr. Brandt pores no more is amazing, but more on the pricey side.  Those have been my faves and I've tried tonssss of primers - my skin get so oily when i put make up on and these help!

Re: Face primer

@AnonymousUnidentified Sounds like you're using the wrong type of ingredients for you and/or products are working against each other causing the extra oil. Is your skin oily after cleansing? If not, what's its state?
