Cystic acne

Hi! I don't really have bad acne but none of my zit creams work. I need a good over night cream or medication for my cystic acne zits that I get. Any suggestions?

RE: Cystic acne

Dermalogica AGE bright spot fader. I’m 16 and I use it as a spot treatment for my cystic acne and it does wonders and it also helps for the hyperpigmentation. There’s salicylic acid and niacinamide in it and it says you can put it day and night. I have sensitive skin so it slightly dries out my face where I apply it (cheeks) but it doesn’t burn or anything.

RE: Cystic acne

I found that the glam glow super mud mask is really good with acne!!!!you can do the mask weekly or you can use it to spot treat overnight big zits! I get cystic acne as well and this is one of my favorites and it’s clean.

RE: Cystic acne

I had cystic acne on my upper back/shoulders in my early 20s. Only thing that helped me was a Benzoyl Peroxide cream prescription from my doctor. It got worse before it got better, it dried everything out and then went back to normal. Since using it as directed, I’m in my late 20s now and haven’t had any flare ups. Hormones also contribute to cystic acne.

Re: Cystic acne

Have you looked at The Ordinary brand? Their serums work so great at targeting skin care concerns like cystic acne!

Do try:

the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (this is VERY good for acne)

the Salicylic Acid mask

the Hylauronic Acid + b5 (for hydration!)

There are many more! Look at youtube videos on The Ordinary for cystic acne and look at reviews! It is cheap but the results are amazing! Available on Sephora as well! And Deciem's website (you can see when to use it by going on the skincare regimen tab) - Hope this helps! 🙂
