Need new cleanser for acne prone skin any advice or reccomondations??

Hello @MaryT56! I’m using Kate Somerville’s EradiKate cleanser for my acne prone skin and I’m loving it. It’s very gentle but geared towards acne prone skin so you don’t have to worry about it drying out your skin.

@MaryT56 Gentle, liquid cleansers are best.  My fave is FAB Face Cleanser.  If you are looking for drugstore, then CeraVe has nice ones.

If you want to use a micellar cleanser, that's up to you...but I would add that from what I've read, one really does need to wash them off.  Apparently the surfactants need to be washed off and aren't good to leave on your skin.

What's your skin type, @MaryT56? For dealing with acne, I've found gentle cleansers to work the best with my skin. Also, one of the biggest game changers for me has been using a double-cleansing method with an oil cleanser followed by a cream cleanser every evening. I have oily (dehydrated) skin, and my current favorite oil cleanser is Shiseido's Perfect Cleansing Oil and my current favorite cream cleansers are Philosphy's Purity and First Aid Beauty's Facial Cleanser.
