Acne Treatment!! Please help!!!

I've had breakouts in the same area of my face and it seems like it they never go away! I've tried so many different face products or masks and nothing seems to work, what are some things that really worked for y'all? I'm willing to try anything at this point

Re: Acne Treatment!! Please help!!!

I tried NERD skincare, when you register they sometimes have 10 usd priced samples - so far helped almost the best (not sold in sephora, though). Also, strangely, the antibiotics prescribed to me by my dentist, helped quite a bit (however, all products prescribed by dermatologist, including antibiotics - did not help). Now I am strongly looking into SUNDAY RILEY Space Race Fight Acne kit, and not sure if to spend the money for it.

Murad Acne line works wonders. Keep it simple and consistent or your face will keep getting irritated. Wash and moisturizer every morning and night. And make sure to do a light exfoliation every other day to remove dead skin cell build up. Also always remove makeup at night. I love the Boscia cooling makeup breakup oil. It's safe for acne prone skin. 😉

@Alainaa01 I rec a liquid cleanser; I like Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Wash, but I know a couple of BICers don't like foaming washes so I will let you be the judge.

BHA is also very helpful; I only like Paula's Choice.

Clean & Clear Persa-gel is great for spot treatments.

If that doesn't work well enough, I rec OTC Differin.  AND if you need more help, ask your MD about the possibility of Rx Differin or Retin-A.  Good luck!  Things will get better!

Re: Acne Treatment!! Please help!!!

Currently I'm using the SLMD Skincare line, although they don't sell it at sephora. It's helped with my hormonal acne. I also like Sunday Riley's UFO Oil, Martian Toner, and the Sulfur Mask, which Sephora does sell. Give products a few weeks to work so your skin can get used to it. You may find that your skin will get worse before it gets better but eventually it well. Hope that helps!
