Acne Scars!!

I have a lot of acne scars of my back and I was just wondering what you guys would recommend to help them fade/heal faster!!

Re: Acne Scars!!

I would recommend The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum for Oily Skin 1 oz/ 30 mL . I used to have a lot of pimple scarring on my forehead and it really helped calm it down. Also, I would try to oil cleanse. Jojoba oil is really good for your skin, just buy pure 100% jojoba oil. Don’t buy any oil cleanse products that have combinations of oils. They’re really expensive and not worth the money. Just wash your face with warm water to open up the pores, then apply a bit of the oil on your face. And then massage it into your skin. Deep clean with a face mask afterwards or you could breakout. I recommend the SEPHORA COLLECTION SUPERMASK - The Mud Mask . Put on the mask while the oil is still on your face and then wash it off when it drys.

Re: Acne Scars!!

Hi @becisspooky!

I've recently started using The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum for Oily Skin 1 oz/ 30 mL for my acne scars and I started seeing slight results after 2 weeks.

As for walnut scrubs @AmyNicolee, I wouldn't recommend it since walnuts are harsh on your skin and can cause permanent damage or micro tears.  Exfoliating with an exfoliating cleanser and loofah work well.  You can exfoliate every 3 days.

Another option is to use a chemical peel like Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Universal Daily Peel Pads 60 Treatments

Re: Acne Scars!!

i used to get really bad break outs on my cheeks that left dark scars. i use the Olehenriksen Walnut scrub and i follow it with pure Vitamin E oil which i bought  from Amazon. i hope this can help!
