Acne Diet?

Hey fellow acne sufferers! Ive been on an acne diet for some time now and my skin has completely cleared so i figured id share it. Bellow are the diet guidelines.

-No soy (this ones a big one guys soy makes me break out really bad)

-No dairy/reduced dairy (butter in meals is fine but the less the better)

-Shellfish a max of once a week (again less is better) 

- No iodized salt (sea salt is the way to go!)

@AllyRT thanks for sharing. I don't eat any on this list except soy. I will try doing without. How long until you saw significant improvements?

I saw a lot of improvement after about a month to a month and a half or so. Acne takes 90 days to form and reach the surface so it may take a while but once those 90 days pass it's clear skin from there!

I'm not lactose intolerant but I get the same reaction ever since I cut diary out of my life my face had become a lot more clear!

Dairy is such a huge trigger for acne. I am lactose intolerant but I do occasionally indulge even though I know I shouldn't. Every time I do though I regret it lol. Hormonal breakouts all long my jawline.

Yes! Dairy is a trigger for acne, it imbalances hormones easily. I also have problems with my period when I eat too much dairy, so I always try to avoid it by packing my lunch every day, when out on dinners I always order dairy free items. If I am organizing a party and don't want to cook myself I order dairy free catering. There is always a choice, you just have to put in a bit of effort.
