Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Jumped the gun on this because it seemed like a great perk. It would have been except they sent me the dark set instead of fair.....it even says fair on the packing slip. I was really looking forward to trying the foundation and the deluxe size was such a nice perk! All ulta could do was give me 250 points. I already have close to 10k points.

I was hoping that I was being offered the UD multiplier @civ2ru, but no luck. I got locked out of my Ulta account and I had to call customer service to get them to send me a password reset because the one on the website won’t load.

Does anyone know why orders switched from k to m. What does that mean at the beginning of the order number?

They change the first letter periodically; before K came into use, I've got old order numbers that start with G, H, and J.

I think “M” stands for “MAYBE, this time it will work?” 😜 I grabbed a couple of secret clearance items (bobby pins, hair elastics, $10 Ulta brand candle), bun twists to try and a Londontown top coat set I’ve been eyeing (only available at Ulta). Didn’t go for the GWP, used a $10 off $50 non-prestige coupon code, a $10 gift card and paid the rest with PayPal. Held my breath, order went through. Hope this info helps someone.

I thought I’d wait until tonight to place order, in case there’s a beauty break (there was an “after dark” one last year). Didn’t happen, and now the $75 GWP isn’t turning free – even with a $100 cart. Makes me re-think how much I need or even want these items? My stash is huge, I shop with Ulta mainly for the “fun” factor these days, and this mess is certainly taking the fun out of the equation. 😕

Anybody having any luck with recent online orders?

P.S. The only winner in all of this is, well, Sephora. 😂

@civ2ru I attempted to place an order yesterday but I kept getting an error. Now the birthday gift code is showing as used and I missed on the last gwp. Idk what’s going on but Ulta needs to figure their stuff out soon as they are definitely losing money and customers. While attempting to check out all free items did switch to charging.  They have a lot of IT network positions open and none of them appear to allow WFH so I suspect this will keep being a pain for a while. Even the old company I work for realized they need to allow WFH to hire in IT/IS.

Yeah, I just played with those $75 gifts an hour ago or so too, and nope, they won't go free. They were marked as one day on the front page yesterday, so I guess they ended at midnight, but why in the everloving fuuuuuuudge are they still up then? Surely it's not an intentional part of this new update to keep showing old gwps? I hope not. Meanwhile, I still had some of the Perk Day gwps in my cart, and while most were pulled as NLA, one of them was still sitting there with my other items as if it were available for purchase (not free, of course). 

I'm still at the "I'm not risking an order" stage of my relationship with Ulta at the moment. Which is fine, my wallet appreciates the breather lol.

Egads. I checked at midnight and again around 2am before I went to bed, knowing that we had a gwp on this day last year and being mildly surprised there wasn't one for today. Sigh. Thanks for catching it!!
