Which is the best mattifier for extremely oily skin?

I have extremely oily skin and have tried many mattifiers including: Dr. Brandt's Pores No More, Bliss Steep Clean, Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel, Smashbox Photofinish Light, Cover FX Clearprep, Bare Essentials Prime Time, Philosophy's The Present, Benefit's Dr. Feel Good, Peter Thomas Roth's Clini-Matte and none have worked. Any suggestions on a strong mattifier that will work? Thanks.

Try Urban Decay de-slick mattifying gel. I LOVE IT!  My sink is normal but I sweat a lot on my forehead area (embarrassing, I know) and de-slick has stopped that problem.    I would recommend using a primer over it before applying makeup or your skin will have that chalky, flaky problem that no one likes.  Moisturizer, de-slick, & prime... makeup time, can't go wrong!  :smileyhappy:

Hello! You said you had tried Smashbox Photofinish Light, but have you tried the Anti-Shine? http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P9890&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=3990

This is amazingly mattifying under makeup or alone...it has worked very well for me. It's not greasy or heavy at all.

For touch-ups during the day, I can't live without my Clinique Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder compact -- if you don't want a powder with pigment, it even comes in a translucent shade. I *love* this powder -- it instantly mattifies, but leaves a flawless finish, softening imperfections. And, for $19, it's a bargain compared to other products.

I hope this helps! :smileyhappy:

Vichy Pro Mat with SPF 15 is a GREAT mattifyer! I love this stuff! So far it is my absolute favourite of all the ones I have tried. However, I still get a bit shiny by around 5pm or so but so far this is the best stuff I have stumble upon. Give it a try! And I know that it can go on sale for pretty cheap, around 19.99 Canadian!
