Since the brand is coming to Sephora. I thought I'd start a thread just for the brand for news and info.

Mothership VI Eyeshadow Palette - Midnight Sun
@jadeann I like but don't love the nude set. I decided to pass the gold on to someone else.
I might be too warm for the nude. I posted a video and some people love it on me....so it could just be me.
I'm not sure what I advise. You're skin tone is lighter and probably cooler so it might be gorgeous on you. Keep me posted!!!
Mine never showed up yesterday so I can't really say what I think of it yet, but how have you used it?
there's nothing wrong with not loving it either, FWIW.
and in the context of how Sabrina explained it below, I don't really think it's expensive either. Particularly since it's a niche cosmetics brand that so far only makes LE products. But it could seem expensive for something you don't love.
@Mochapj I was wearing the UD sin highlighter when this one arrived and took it off one cheek and applied the PM on the other. The effect (high sheen, a little cool) is similar except for the duochrome. And the duochrome can be a little pink at certain angles (I need to be careful with pinks...I have a slightly yellow undertone).
I do like it...I've tried all sorts of different layering combos as mine arrived Thursday.
And I'm asking in part because I haven't decided if I'm going to open my gold...so I want to read as many opinions as possible before I decide.
Can't wait to hear your thoughts once yours arrives!
I agree that is is quite expensive, but I'm looking at the brush, and the dual highlighter thing, and the pigment itself. Separately, you could find that pigment for $30, that brush for maybe $25-$30, and that duo stick could easily go for $40 (I'm just comparing to what else is out there and what pricing is like). By thinking of it that way, it really isn't that expensive, HOWEVER, if you don't want all the components, then it is kinda expensive. I would've been happy just buying both pigments and one brush, I'm not big on cream products. That being said though, I may buy the golden set and just try to sell the duo stick and the brush. I get where you're coming from!
@sabrinas Appreciate the validation. I did the math as best I could, compared to the Dior (Dior keeps adding brushes! and upping the price). I do like the brush. And I can basically make the math work..
This set is pretty on. The balm alone doesn't last too long on me (dry skin) and the cream is pretty but not amazing. I do like the pigment but I'm not sure I love it on me....personally. Might be a skin tone thing.
So, a lovely product...for sure. And I do like it. But I'm not in love...and for $72....
@meganlisa You mean the balm basically works like a "moisture balm" and gets absorbed?? Hmm...then I really should skip it. My skin can absorb anything, really...(for being dry). Wouldn't it be nice if they sell everything separately ? 😞
@Anonymous It doesn't absorb immediately but I can maybe (maybe) get it to show 2 hours. It does make the powder look less glittery and smoother (it's smooth and finely milled anyway but works better with the balm). I also feel like the powder looks more pink alone, a touch more peach over the balm.
But wearing the balm alone is supposed to be the most subtle option...and on me it does absorb.
Urgh. I really want the balm (I mean, it's the "real" glow!), but maybe I should try some moisture sticks available in the market. I think the balm itself may work with other highlighter you own.
@Anonymous I have a golden set I don't really want....totally unopened...with the glitter in the bag intact Send me a PM if you're interested.
FYI for those who haven't received their order. I got my order in during the early access hour and did receive an immediate confirmation but never received any shipping or tracking notices. So since it seemed that many of you have already received your orders I started to get worried. Late last night I sent an email to customer service and received a very pleasant prompt response early this morning which included 2 tracking numbers (I made one order but with one of each color). Mine were shipped out last Wednesday and due to arrive next Tuesday (all within the US). Wow long time right? but happy to know they are on the way 🙂
@PaletteAddict99 I'm not sure why, but I don't think her website sends out shipment notifications.
This is now the 3rd product I've ordered from them, and I've never received any sort of heads up that it's on the way.
Their CS is amazing, though.
@Mochapj Good to know and yes they are so very polite and prompt. I wonder why they split it up into two shipments.
I was breaking down a box for recycling and I noticed it said "golden" in a corner. I think that they have all the products packed up and sealed and just slap shipping labels on them once they're sold to speed up the shipping process.
smart idea / makes sense
Ok I got my nude and got to swatch it!! It was SO hard to capture the pigment and how beautiful it actually is! In my photo, from top to bottom there's Colourpop's Monster, Nude pigment, balm, Nude cream highlighter. I think that it is quite similar to Monster but the difference is that Monster is thicker and feels more cakey, also it has a white base, while the Nude pigment is very finely milled and has a clear base. Also, the Nude pigment reflects a LOT more! It really is beautiful! I'm going to cave and try to get the gold one on Monday!
Pretty! Can't wait for mine!
Mini Review!
I wore the golden color today. I first applied the highlighter end, then dabbed on the balm and then stippled on the pigment. A little goes a LOOOOOONG way. I applied it the same way as I do my other highlighters, but I caught my reflection in a car mirror and holy cow I was bright. It didn't emphasize my pores at all, which I love. And there's still some on my face almost 10 hours later and after walking in the rain.
The only cons that I can think of is how little product is in the highlighter/balm stick. I twisted it all the way up and it's barely the length of my thumbnail. The pigment is a decent(ish) size. It's .02oz smaller than a Laura Geller highlighter (e.g. Gilded Honey)
That being said, the highlighter did magical non-pore emphasizing things to my face so I am happy with my purchase!
Good to know! Thanks 🙂
Golden, Nude
Swatches below are:
Golden Pigment, Nude Pigment, Golden all three, Nude all three, Golden stick duo, Nude stick duo, Golden stick highlight, Nude stick highlight, balm
(with flash)
Ott light + Window
Outside (very gray skies...send sunshine, please)
Closer look at the balm (far right):
The balm smells like vanilla. Despite the gray skies, I think the colors are pretty accurate, except the pink pigment is more intense in person. It actually looks purplish to me, so I'm not sure about how natural that one will be on. The golden pigment looks more wearable. But we're not exactly going for natural by layering three highlights.
I might try one on each cheek tonight to see which color I like better because I want to wear one of them tomorrow when I go out to lunch and bridesmaids dress shopping.
Thank you for the swatches!!!! Oh my, the gold is really gold 😄 I wonder why both look so white in the pan.
Thanks for the swatches! The gold looks more gold in some of these pictures than the swatches she posted where it looks like a white/gold highlight. Glad it smells like vanilla because it's one scent I know I can handle 😉 Thanks @kso1225 🙂
